Hi, I'm Jinpeng Li, Aka "J.P." An Austin-based journalist passionate about using data analytics and visualization to produce stories. I'm also pursuing my master's degree in journalism with Ethical AI certificate program at The University of Texas at Austin.
I love exploring storytelling skills. Before entering the media industry, I won first prize in the 新概念作文大赛(New Concept Writing Competition) in China for my creative writing and was awarded the Walt Disney Fellowship for my screenwriting.
I'm currently working as a local news reporter for Reporting Texas,
previously interned at Yicai Magazine, covering consumer news,
and at Caixin Media's data group,
reporting on market news and the electric vehicle industry.
Now I'm thirsty opportunity to cooperate with code nerd to
produce compelling data-driven stories.
